22 Caliber Rifle Enter the world of rifle marksmanship with Chuck Burdsall - you will be shooting like a pro before you know it! Participants will learn how to safely operate and shoot in addition to the basic techniques of a .22 caliber rifle. Both short and long distances will be practiced, using various scopes and sights. All guns, safety equipment and ammunition is provided. Participants may take home their targets as souvenirs!
Trap Shooting In trap shooting, you will be introduced to the basics of shot gunning: safe handling, safety equipment, various types of shotguns & gauges, ammunition, chokes & loads used & the parts of the gun. Eastern Hills Rod & Gun Club's finest trap shooters will develop your shotgun skills while shooting at clay pigeons - all guns, safety ear and eye equipment & ammunition are provided.
Kayaking During this class you will learn about the styles and types of kayaks and canoes. Instructors from Cincypaddlers will teach the proper techniques of paddle strokes - you will learn how to paddle all day without getting tired. He will also discuss water safety and kayaking gear - all on a scenic lake. Please bring water shoes and proper clothing. You will get wet!

In this yummy class, Doak Grant of Eastern Hills RGCC will take you up a notch when he teaches you how to build a fire without losing your cool, about the various types of cooking utensils, camp stoves, foods, safety and first aid. At one of our stocked lakes, you will gain the necessary information on the proper equipment, local fishing opportunities, as well as the Ohio fishing rules & regulations. Geocaching Geocaching is happening right now, all around you. There are 2,606,267 active geocaches and over 6 million geocachers worldwide. Geocaching is a real-world, outdoor treasure hunting game using GPS-enabled devices. Participants navigate to a specific set of GPS coordinates and then attempt to find the geocache (container) hidden at that location. A new class offered in 2015 by Chris Synder
